A conference on "Green Capitalism? At the Crossroads of Environmental and Business History" will take place at the Hagley Museum and Library on October 30-31, 2014. The
program has now been posted. Cosponsored by the Hagley's
Center for the History of Business, Technology, and Society and the
German Historical Institute in Washington, D.C., the conference will feature a wrap-up summation by Christine Meisner Rosen of the University of California at Berkeley. Session topics include "Firms as Conservationists?", "Consumers' Demands," "Globalization," "Firms Going Green," and "Governance."
