PhD candidates who are close to completing their dissertations in topics related to business and politics, and that have used Hagley’s Library research materials, should consider applying to the Jefferson Scholars/Hagley Libray Dissertation Fellowship in Business and Politics. The award is $25.000 for a year. More information about the application process can be found here, and the deadline to submit proposals is coming up: February 1st.
The 2020 American Historical Association meeting will be in New York City. There is no theme for the AHA's 134th conference and the deadline to submit proposals is February 15th. Here you can find the CfP, and to follow developments on Twitter use #AHA20.
Also February 15th is the deadline to submit proposals for the 44th Annual Economic and Business History Society Conference. The meeting will focus on the theme "Manufacturing and the City," though proposals on other topics are also welcomed. The conference will take place June 5-8 in Detroit, Michigan. Send your proposal to participate in the Retail History workshop Retailing and Community: the Social Dimensions of Commerce in Historical Perspective at the University of Woverhampton, United Kingdom. The meeting seeks participants to discuss "the social, activist and communal aspects of retail from a historical perspective." The deadline is February 15 and the guidelines to submit can be found here.

The annual meeting of the International Congress of French Business History will be next September 11-13, in Paris, France. The CfP is open (the English version may be accessed here) until February 18th. The three main topics of the conference will be: The role of business--both French and foreign--in the emergence of a form of French-style capitalism, French companies confronted with the challenges of globalisation and modernity, and Writing business history in France today.
