The Center for the History of Business, Technology, and Society at the Hagley Museum and Library will hold a one-day conference on November 8, 2013, on "Business and Politics in 20th Century America." The meeting, which will take place in the Hagley's Soda House, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., preceded by coffee at 8, and followed by a reception. The program has now been posted; it includes sessions on "State-Building," "Shaping Conservatism," "Engaging with Liberalism," and "American Business in the World."
