The Exchange is currently edited on behalf of the Business History Conference. It was an initiative of former BHC Web Editor Pat Denault and it is now managed by Paula de la Cruz Fernández.
We do not publish comments or editorial commentary. Our goal is to publish news and information of interest to business and economic historians generally—including professional news of individuals in the field and word of conferences, publications, grants, and research sources. Please note that we emphasize current news and upcoming events. We are particularly eager to expand our postings of information outside the North American context, though we need at least a summary of the material in English. Please send suggestions to padelacruzf@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee that all suggestions will be acted on, but they will all be acknowledged.

  Dear subscribers to The Exchange: I am happy to announce that our blog is moving platforms. For almost a decade, the Business History Conference has used Blogger to publish and archive posts. However, in early 2021, the blogging site announced that their email serving service would be terminated. The Exchange has moved to the BHC's website

  Dear members subscribers of The Exchange   The Exchange, the weblog of the BHC, is now part of our website ( https://thebhc.org ).
